Three charges +q each are kept at the vertices A, B and C of an equilateral triangle of side L. The electric field intensity at the mid point of BC is *

kaneez fathima 9th Jul, 2020

Dear Chirag,

solution to this problem is:

F1=force at A due to charge at B

F1=1/4piE X q^2/l^2 along BA

F2=Force at A due to charge C

=I/4 pi E X q^2/l^2 along CA

F1+F2=sqrt(F1*^2+F2^2+2f1f2cos 60)

=F1*(sqrt(3))=sqrt(3)*q^2/4piEl^2 along GA

Force at A due to charge Q at centroid G=1/4 pi e*Qq/AG^2=Qq/4 pi E (l/sqrt(3))^2=3Qq/4 pi E l^2

This is equal and opposite to F1+F2

3Qq/4piEl^2=-sqrt(3)q^2/4 pi E l^2

Q=q/sqrt(3)

are we eligible to apply for mid year central institute exams if we did neet pg councelling?

Koyel Bagchi 10th Jul, 2020

Hello,

Yes,  you are obviously eligible for your mid year central institute exams.

But for the present situation it is not possible to say about all the details properly. Till the COVID19 Pandemic is not in a stable mode then it is possible to conduct any exams.

But as per the past years brochure there is a chance to apply in mid year.

Hope for the best.

Thank you.

I paid ₹25000 in Alliance University, Bangalore in Mid February as a Registration fees for BBA but i dont want to study their because of this pandemic . When i told this to college they told me that they cant refund that fees please help me out how i can get back my money?

Disha Arora 25th Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

From a pure business perspective speaking in the language of contracts: They made you an offer and you accepted. Thus becomes an enforceable contract.  Usually in such contracts they will specific a window (date) by which you can opt out and if you did not do it within the specified date then the contract is binding on both parties.  Ideally it should have been given in writing to avoid any ambiguity in the adherence to the rules.

Please read the prospects very carefully and check if there such a date mentioned for withdrawal.  If there is a date mentioned, and if you did not avail of that window then it is certainly a default on your part.  If there is no date mentioned then from a consumer point of view, this contract is one sided and it can be contested in a consumer court – like the Ombudsmen in your area.

Good Luck
