Both NITs are outstanding in every way. However, NITK offers somewhat higher placements and rankings. The only college with a beach is NIT SURATHKAL, and it has a wonderful private beach.

NITK is a Nationally Important Institution. Despite how useless the rankings are, NITK is listed as one of the best engineering schools in the nation. Real and accurate evaluations are quite difficult to come by. The quality of an institution can only be accurately evaluated by those who have firsthand knowledge.
