Sone of decent private engineering colleges under Btech Mining engineering are listed below.

Malla Reddy College of engineering
Vidya vikas institute of technology
BIAET hyderabad
JNTU Hyderabad.

However all above colleges have very mediocre placements.

You should rathergo for BIT Mesra and ISM Dhanbad which are highly recommended for Mining

I have no idea about IIEST Shibpur, but mining in iiitdm jabalpur is not good, even placements are also not good. There are less faculties of cse. But for research purposes iiitdm jbp is good comparatively.

The college offers admission only in the basis of jee score. To get into this college you need to give jee mains entrance exam which is conducted by AICTE. After declaration of result , you need to participate in counselling of colleges.

Hello Archit,

I am sorry but you don't have my chance if you are general category.

The cutoff rank maximum goes upto 600-700.
Mining branch with 1500+ rank is not possible in bit sindri.

Mining engineering colleges are plenty in India.
But for lateral entry you can only go through Private engineering colleges.
NIT and IIT and ISM dhanbad do not accept lateral entrues.
