Inhave 96% in 12th and am getting admission in Political Science in South Campus. How can I apply for North Campus colleges like Miranda House or Indraprastha also, in cas they have seats available in the second list?
Hey Bhavna!
In case you apply for a particular college and course in the first cut off of University of Delhi(DU) and you wish to take another college in the second cut off then you can do so by cancelling the admission in the college in which you had applied in the first cut off and then you can head off to take admission in the second cut off in the college and course of your choice. It should be noted that in one cut off, applicant can take admission in one college only. Make sure that in the second cut off you are meeting the eligibility criteria and cut off for the college you wish to seek admission in because once you cancel the admission from the first cut off, there is no going back. So, be attentive and check the eligibility criteria and cut off thoroughly and then only proceed to cancel the college from the first cut off.
Hope it helps!

Hello,
Delhi university offers MA Economics on both Merit and Entrance basis but to be eligible for merit basis, one has to do BA hons economics from Delhi University. Since you have done B.COM (//B.COM) hons from a recognised university, and passed with first distinction, you are eligible to give entrance exam for MA economics.

what is the procedure to get admission for MA education in hindu college, Miranda house, lady shree college?
Hello Aspirant,
In general there are 2 ways through which you can get admission to PG courses. One is direct merit based admission if you are DU UG candidate . You will be given seat under the DU quota based on whether you match the cutoff requirements.Another mode is entrance based . Here you have to clear the entrance exam conducted by Delhi University. In order to apply , you need to visit their official websites and fill in the application form for masters.Once you are selected , they will call for interview. However It is better that you contact the departments in each of these colleges if possible, to get proper information regarding the admission procedure.

I have sociology(hons) in miranda house (1st year). i also gave clat this year, got a seat in nlu shimla in the 1st round. will opt for revise option but what would be better? continuing in miranda house or leaving it for nlu?
Hello, i can sense your confusion and worry as you obviously don't want want to make a rushed decision and regret it later. No one else but only you can take this decision for yourself. You should make a career plan for yourself and decide. Evaluate your career options, what prospects do you have after your graduation, and then compare it to what your position will be if your pursue your law degree now . If you really want to be a lawyer, you should go for the NLU option as then our Sociology degree won't really matter much academically
you also have the option to complete your graduation now, and then give the DU LLB entrance or even CLAT again.

I have B.A.(Hons) Sociology in Miranda house , Delhi university right now and i also gave nids entrance exam this year . So which is better nid or du? should i drop out of miranda house for nid?
Hello,
B.A hons. Sociology and NID are two different fields one is a degree course and other is a professional course in designing.in b.a sociology it not only provides knowledge of the books but also provides knowledge more about fieldwork and practice. placement is decent as many companies visit for on campus placement.
NID also provides internship and placement to the students in designing field.so it is upto you which course you want to pursue.dont go for good value and placement college you end up with frustration after sometime if you are not interested in the field.
Hope you understand...
