Its one of the good colleges for engineering, offcourse its MIT  group of colg. But recently this colg got autonomus status that make it stand out from rest of the colleges.

You will be highly disappointed if you go with the mind set of college being like one in Student of The Year.

It is well desciplined one with good faculty, good placement, well equiped library and laboratories. Campus is compact and well architectured.

Where it lacks is the location of college. Its in ALANDI that says it all. The crowd is average (below average if you are unfortunate for that particular academic year). No place to hang out nearby, no good food outlets.

Best part is, if you score good in first year, you can shift to MIT main campus(Kothrud). Overall AOE is not bad. Not bad at all. You will be so much involved in academics and studies that these problems will appear so small, moreover friends that you will make here will be for lifetime.

MIT Alandi is the college which comes under Pune University.

The MIT Group of Institutions consist of 3 engineering colleges.

• Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT)
• M.I.T. College of Engineering (MITCOE)
• MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE) 

This college offers 120 seats for the electrical and telecommunications branch.

The fees structure for the general category student is 6.13 lakhs.

In this college, this branch has best faculty, moderate infrastructure, better labs and best placement packages for the students

So all in all this college is good for the electronics and telecommunications branch.

The tution fee at MIT Academy of engineering for lateral entry/direct second year is 1.39 Lakhs and the Hostel fee is INR 75000/- for boys. For girls, the hostel fee is INR 65000/- per annum.
