Not only NIT ALLAHABAD but placement of all the NITs are very good.
But in some 2-3 years allahabad placement were decreases due to some reason.

NIT Allahabad is very good both in terms of academics and placements.
NIRF 2017 ranking by Indian Government -
NIT Rourkela 12th in country
NIT Allahabad ranks 41.

Last year general category cut off of mechanical engineering in MNNIT Allahabad closed at rank 10,894. You have less chances to get admission in mechanical engineering. But you can get civil, bio technology and chemical branch in this college according to your rank. All the best
