If you are doing B.tech in Biotechnology then its better to for M.tech because moving to MS will change the entire structure of what you have studied in past and what you will study in future because MS and M.tech are two different studies, MS is related to research

You can apply for MSc artificial intelligence after completing BSc Physics but you should have mathematics as one of the  main subjects in your course.
The eligibity criteria states that the Candidate must have done graduation from a recognised university with atleast 55% marks.
