For qualifying M.Sc. entrance exam for lucknow university , you need to study some specific topics - 

1. spectroscopy 

2. Name reaction (some selective )

3. coordination chemistry 

4. Quatum chemistry 

5. Periodic properties 

And many more topics but very less time is remaining for exam .
