According to the syllabus of MSc physics entrance it only requires physics topics such as kinematics, mechanics ,general properties of matter ,electricity and Magnetism, wave  Optics ,oscillation and waves ,thermodynamics, modern physics or you can say all the syllabus of 11-12 th physics.

There is no problem i getgetting into jnu with a gap between 12 and bsc.You just need to clear the entrance test.Also there is no age limit for admission.

Your question is not clear to me.

Is it you are asking for engineering in physics since you will not get bsc physics??
