It depends on the college to college. Each college has different criteria to take the admission for M.SC. Please explain for which college you want to take the admission.
After Msc maths apart from PhD, if you are good at Math and Logic you can learn software programming, analytics and related tools and technologies. Choose teaching if interested and even research won't be a problem.
