which has more scope and good career/salary msc genetics or msc biotechnology ??

Anushri Varshney 30th May, 2022
Hello ,
Dear Student, Both subjects are good.
if you want to go for MSc Genet ics it is a narrow field, you have fewer options if we compare to Biological Science. In this, You will get MSc Genetics degree and after that, you can go for research further you can opt out industrial as well as medical jobs.

M.S.C in Biotechnology is generally considered as a better course compared to any other field in M.S.C  while considering the future prospects. Wide range of career opportunities and higher studies options are available for students completing M.S.C in Biotechnology than M.S.C in genetics.

Salary starts from 20,000INR per month to 50,000 INR it directly depends upon the experience of an individual.

Hope you understand , in case of any issue you can comment here and also make a new query for the same.

Thank you:))

i finished my bsc in medical microbiology and planning to do an msc. which one will be better to do in india, msc microbiology or msc medical microbiology? … …

iamlavishamittal 7th Jul, 2022

Hey dear,

While medical microbiology focuses more on disease prevention and treatment, general microbiology places a greater emphasis on the study of microorganisms.

Microbiology has a wider range of view or research than medical microbiology, which has a more constrained scope. With the latter, you will have more opportunities. Yes, continuing your education in medical microbiology still makes sense.

Hope it helps.
