see the eligibility criteria for m.sc in food science is candidates must have completed bachelors degree in relevant discipline. agriculture engineering or agriculture science is not equivalent with food technology, Institute like lovely professional university, karunya institute of sciences does not offer admission in m.sc food science  to candidates

You didn't mentioned the name of the entrance exam. In general the syllabus for most of the entrances is the BSc syllabus. So you can broadly follow this syllabus until and unless you are preparing for exams like TIFR-GS or JEST. These two exams have different perspectives in their entrance

see there is no government college in mumbai offers m.sc in clinical embryology. however there is two government institute bangalore university and university of madras offers post graduate course on clinical embryology.
