Hi
As per your question after completing the MSW There are several options to be had to you as soon as
you ive completed your MSW program. Ideally, and most commonly, you would practice for and get
hold of your limited license and take (and with any luck pass) the licensure exam (although this isnt a
immediate requirement) as quickly as viable after receiving your license.
Once, and now and again even before, you gotten your license you can then start applying for social
work positions. However, working within the field isnt your best option. If you absolutely revel in
academia then you can apply to Phd and/or DSW programs.
Moreover, in case you dont need to exercise social paintings right now or want to combine your social
work schooling and/or diploma with any other discipline you could pick out to move back to highschool
for another degree (this is the path I chose to do as I plan on law faculty next year).
If youe certainly ambitious, you may begin your own non-profit, specifically if there is a wishes gap for
your community. You may want to also choose to volunteer with Americorps or some other
organization. Fellowships and paid internships are some other option.
