Placement scenario for Mtech is as good as B.Tech. Latest highest package of M.Tech was around 17 lakh.A total of 119 students were placed last year in M.Tech. Most of the dream,IT companies visit the campus.90% of the students do get placed with average package of 3-4 lakh.

Firstly you should know about what is MTECH integrated course. It consists of 5 years i.e. 3 years in BTECH degree and 2 years in MTECH degree. Yes Integrated MTECH course is good in VIT Vellore but not in VIT Bhopal. So you should prefer VIT Vellore and not VIT

The basic eligibility criteria for gate exam is completion or final semester of Master’s degree in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent. There's no weightage given to 12th score for eligibility criteria of GATE exam.

If you have particularly applied for only B.Tech+M.tech Integrated course you can only get admission in these courses if you fulfill the eligibility criteria and scored the minimum cut off marks specified for each course. You cannot get admission in B.tech if you have not applied for B.Tech course.
