According to reports, IIST 2020 Rank List for PG  courses was to be released on 17th June 2020 i.e today. The Rank List will be released for UG & PG courses through online mode. Till now, there are no updates about it. The authorities has released the eligibility criteria

see the previous years suitability test is taken in iit madras campus, it is a screening test where the respective faculty of the concerned discipline will give a presentation on  the particular engineering domain in mtech course, you need to attend the presentation, then there was an interview sessions,

No dear there is no entry into MTECH course into any IITs OR NITs without giving the GATE entrance examination. Cracking the GATE exam and getting a seat on merit is mandatory.

GATE is a national level entrance examination and around 8.5 lakh candidates register for the same every year.
