Hello
The integrated master of technology in computer science is a 5-year degree programme, whereas the bachelor of technology in computer science engineering is a 4-year programme. When it comes to the course curriculum, the b. tech course is more extensive than the integrated course curriculum because the b. tech + m. tech course typically takes six years to complete rather than the two years of m. tech course. However, in the integrated programme, these two courses are combined and only focus on core components, so many of the optional subjects available in b. tech may not be covered. However, if you are interested in research and a doctoral programme in the future, the integrated course is the better option.
National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh is a good place to pursue your Masters of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering discipline. Following is the statistics of the M.Tech programme's placement at NIT Andhra:
Companies Visited: 41 Percentage Placement: 72% Average Package: 6.02 LPA Lowest Package: 3.6 LPA Highest Package: 12LPA
All the best!
You can do the Integrated BTech-MTech course after 10+2 but not directly MTech. Now if you wish to go for the Integrated MTech course, then why will you go again abroad for the Masters course?. See if you wish to go for the Masters abroad, then my suggestion for you will be to go for the BTech course and not the BTech-MTech after MTech again going for the Masters abroad, its nothing but a misuse of resources.
The fields which you can go for the BTech course in VIT are provided below:

VIT is one of the best private engineering colleges in India. So if you wish to go for the Integrated MTech program in any specialization, then its a good choice because, after completion of the course you have good chance to get a good salaried job in placements. It can feel to you that, the packages of BTech and Integrated MTech will be nearly the same, but you will have to invest 1 year more. But look at the bright side, you will be a more educated engineer with high end specialized skills which can really help you to get a R&D or Project lead kind of a job. So you can have similar packages but you will be a much upgraded version.
The placement ratio for the Integrated MTech course is around or greater than 85% (for CSE related course/job profiles) which is a great opportunity.

Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad is the fastest growing 2nd generation IIT and has also outpaced many older IITs in many pointers. So, as far as the placement in MTech mechanical is concerned, then replying to a RTI, IIT Hyderabad stated that in the 2017-19 batch, 16 students were placed out of 25 and in 2018-19 batch, 17 were placed out of 24, which is a great number.
So, in all IIT Hyderabad is a good place to pursue MTech in Mechanical engineering. All the best!
Unfortunately you cannot do that. National Institute of Technology Rourkela takes admission into MTech Mining Engineering through GATE in Mining Engineering and not from GATE in Mechanical Engineering.
So, if you want to take admission in Mining Engineering, then you'll have to give GTAE in Mining Engineering and opt for the same paper. All the best!
Definitely, each year many people switch their field of interest and take up a different branch in MTech than what they took in B.Tech. The only thing which you'll have to do is that clear the paper of GATE in EC and prepare well for the interviews, as the professors will be hell bent on knowing that why you want to switch you field, so keep your answer ready for these. Other than these you'll be good to go.
Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi has an active VLSI programme for the students targeting admission in 2022. The candidates are selected through an all India entrance examination (GATE) followed by a written test and an interview.
Candidates with their branches in engineering such as BE or B. Tech in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics & Communications (ECE), Instrumentation (INI), Associate membership of professional bodies equivalent to B.Tech. (EEE/EE/ECE/IN) and M.Sc. in Electronics Science will be considered eligible for this course. (This is from the official notification from IIT Mandi VLSI MTech).
