Hi, DTE form is for diploma students and post SSC. Mumbai university form is to be filled by students who want to peruse Engineering after 12th. that is degree certificate. But after diploma you can take admission in direct second year engineering. Hope this helps. All the best!

Hi, as the admissions are opened on yearly basis. If you don't get admissions in any of the merit list. You will have to wait one more year. You can either apply using same score card or you can appear for the test again. Since, you didn't get admission with this marks it is very easy to say that getting admission next year with the same marks would be difficult. So, it is always safe and better to re-appear. hope you are doing great. As per your query  I am sorry to say that cut off list and merit list are only generated after analysis of number of applications registered for that course . Once the cut off is generated ,their is no point of filling the form as it will be unfair to second merit list students ,I would advise you to wait for the next year or to look for other universities . As per the official rules of GOI, its clearly mentioned that there are three reserved categories in India. These are:

• Schedule Tribe
• Schedule Caste
• Other Backward class

Thus you are obviously eligible for the course of MU.

To get in the counselling process you have to fill up the application form first. It is necessary for all the bachelor and masters courses. At first you should fill up the application form through the college websites. Then the respective institution provides you a tentative date for releasing the merit list. If you are not get any chance of first merit list then obviously you have a next try and hope for 2nd merit list. If you done the application process before then you no need to worry about further.
