Music
hi,
can you please mention the institute name in which you want to apply for m.a in music. then I may help you.
Abhishek, if you look at SP Jain's selction criteria as mentioned in: https://www.spjimr.org/sites/default/files/PGDM%20Eligibility%20Document%20Domestic.pdf, the various parameters that are considered for shortlisting a Candidate's profile at are:
Overall profile
Academic Background
Work experience
Entrance scores
Versatility and Achievements
You have a perfectly crafted profile with your Academics, work experience, and versatility in other areas too. Now what you will need to compliment this profile is an excellent entrance score no matter which entrance exam you have chosen. SP Jain's cut offs look like this:
CAT: 80 percentile
XAT: 85 percentile
GMAT: 85 percentile
Now the admissions also happen based on the reservation. The cut offs mentioned here are general cut offs. But if you belong to General Category, you will need atleast 90 percentile to be shortlisted for SP Jain. So with everything being excellent in your profile, all that is left is for you to be able to score good in the entrance examination.
