As per previous year cutoffs you will not be able to get NITs in electrical engineering branch but you can opt for GFTIs if you want to pursue electrical engineering.

Congrats on getting Electronic and Electrical as branches in these colleges .

As far as NIT nagaland And NIT mizoram are conisdered , They  both are very good colleges as placements , faculties and Infrastructures in both of these colleges is very good.

NIT nagaland is one of the most beautiful institutions of india. NIT Mizoram lies in beautiful side too.

If you ask me(only my opinion) , I would like to take NIT Mizoram in electrical branch as in this college the Infrastructure , faculties , placements , and side beauty are all beautiful and great . NIT nagaland is also good but not as good as NIT mizoram.

So it's upto you to decide which college you prefer the most.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, NIT NAGALAND is a good college for this course although not no. of students are less generally in this branch as compare to others but that will not affect the quality for teaching in anyway. If we talk about placement then  the highest salary offered in this course is 8 LPA. Top Recruiting companies of electronic and instrumentation  are SIEMENS, EMERSON, INSTRUMENTATION LTD, HITACHI, ALSTHOM, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, ABB, E&H, LARSEN & TURBO, etc. 70% of students GOT internship in IITs and IISC. 40% GOT internship in siemens, 20% GOT BHEL and HCL.

However getting a good placement is totally depend on ones knowledge and experiences so work hard and improve yourself for better placement.

As per josaa rules if a candidate CT scan sailed then he will get refund the seat acceptance fees for general candidate 36500 of rupees and for SC ST and OBC 16000 rupees. If you do not pay the partial admission fees then your seat also be cancelled and you will get revert the seat acceptance fees in josaa. If you Want to take part in CSAB counselling then you can take part in CSAB counselling then your Josaa seat  will be cancelled.

Participating in CSAB special round toupee for general 36 500 rupees, for SC ST and PW candidate 16000 rupees will I have to pay for this participating fees.

If you  get CSAB seat allotment in  special round then you have to pay the seat acceptance fees. S eat  acceptance fees is refunded after the Josaa processing fees  deduction of rupees of 2,000 if a candidate pay the partial admission fees then he will not get back the get back the money he has deposited in josaa counselling for seat acceptance fees. A candidate get back the seat acceptance fees weather in the 15 days of his cancellation of of the seat.

As you have been allotted the NIT Nagaland seat in the JOSSA Counselling in the Electronic and instrumentation branch which is good but as you have mentioned that you are confused about whether to go with this or take a drop, so firstly i would say that it completely depends upon your prospective like if you feel that you are satisfied with what you are getting than you should go with it but if you are looking for something more and something better than you can take a drop but that also if you are 100 percent sure you will do better than this than only it will be worth. Now talking about NIT Nagaland so it is one of the good NIT in India and has a good record but it is not in top NIT’s than too overall it is a good college.
