Autonomous means they are not under any University. If any college is autonomous then they have authority to create own college questions and select the examination date. So paper also checked by the same college faculties dear. No other college faculties are involved to checking the examination paper. But you have a benefit for autonomous the marks will high always.

Different number of students are placed in different streams.The placement for CSE and IT is good for these college and the rate stays at about 85-89% for these branches and also in renowned compainies like TCS,Wipro,Cognizant etc.However the placement is of average quality in ECE and other branches like mechanical,electrical etc.The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.25 LPA  for CSE branch.

The college is good in terms of infrastructure and faculties but it provides average placements to ECE branch.Almost 50% students got placed as per last year.However rates may increase or decrease from year to year as it much depends on placement cell.However Top recruiting companies like are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, ValueLabs, Efftronics, HCL and IBM visit the campus for placements.The highest salary package is 7 LPA while the average being 3.5-4 LPA.

NEC Engineering College in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh is a fully autonomous institute under JNTU Kakinada. The institute has good infrastructure, faculty and laboratory facilties. However, I believe if you are seriously interested in CSE and Artificial Intelligence, from your 3rd year you should start your preparation for GATE Exam and plan to pursue a Masters degree from a Higher Technical Institute like Top IITs or IISc Bangalore for better career scope ans prospects.

Narasaraopeta Engineering College has a an active placement and training cell. it has a good placement record for CSE with 50 offers for the 2020 passout batch. But the packages are not too good compared to other colleges.
