Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai
Hi, MIT Manipal. It is among the top private Engineering colleges in the country, boasting of a better placement record than most other private institutes including NMIMS. The culture is immensely diverse and this is probably the coolest place to spend the 4 years of your college life. The infrastructure is pretty good as well. It also depends on what you wish to take up. MIT Manipal is very well known for its engineering related core branches where as NMIMS MPSTME is well known for MBA courses. Both are equally good. If I had to choose one it would be MIT Manipal for Engineering. Hope this helps.
To qualify in NMIMS Mumbai you have to clear its cutoff and sectional cutoff as well.your scores seems quite close to cutoff.
you can understand better from following points

Here it is visible that your quant marks is not good.but this is the last year's cutoff it may change due to various factors which affects like no.of candidates who appeared in the exam, difficulty level and so on.there is a hope this time may cutoff goes down for quant.so for now your chances is fifty fifty.
Dear candidate for the courses which has an additional counselling rounds before admission, you can contact with your programme coordinator to alter any preference after submission. If you are eligible for counselling, then during that you can ask for any change of preference within your internal department, they would help you a lot. If this doesn't work you can send a mail to your department requesting the shuffling of preferences.
Good luck!!
