I only filled nmims mumbai and did not apply for "multiple choices" which had bangalore, navi mumbai and hyderabad in it. Now Im willing to go to Bangalore as well, but its past the last date (Dec 19, 2020). Is there ANY chance or have I lost the chance because of not applying??

Hello

You have not mentioned the name of the programme for which you had not applied for "multiple choices" hence I am assuming you were talking about NPAT. The registrations began for NMIMS NPAT in the second week of december 2020 and is to continue till last week of April 2021.You can change the choices during form correction after a week when the application window for the NPAT exam closes.  For more details you can click on https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/npat-bba-application-form

Nive 30th Dec, 2020

Hello, The eligibility criteria required by the institute is an aggregate of 50 percent minimum, meaning the students with this percentage do have a chance of securing a seat if you have high entrance percentile score of 90 and above usually and perform well in the further rounds of admission process. You should should convince the board that you are a potential candidate and is in the process of improving further. You can master the basic management, economic theories and be updated with the current affairs. You can take up an internship in the meanwhile to upgrade your profile.

Logical reasoning - 65-70

And in general your score has to be more than 225.

So based on your score you have decent chance to get a call from Nmims

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that as per the universities rules and guidelines, it is not possible to switch from one college to another in any year. Still, you can contact the administration department of the college and seek help from them regarding this issue since it is a decision which can be taken by the concerned authorities of colleges.

I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.

Is it possible to get NMIMS,Mumbai campus at 3919 rank?

Pakshal Ghiya 16th Dec, 2020

Hello,

It is very difficult. Your only hope could be a management seat or if you could wait till all MU admissions are over because many people leave their seat at MPSTME after securing in MY.

Alternatively, you could also take a break for a year and work on developing your skill sets by taking online courses such as those from online sites. You could easily cover first year syllabus by yourself so that you can get a solid start to your GPA when you finally start first year in college.

What is the cutoff rank to get B.Tech in CSE? MPSTME,NMIMS.

Pakshal Ghiya 16th Dec, 2020

Hey,

I guess it entirely depends upon the vacancy. There’s no such cut-off system. If you get a really good rank, like in the top 300, you can go for these courses, else it entirely depends upon the vacancy.

Like if you get a rank between 1500–3000, and you want IT or CE, the chances are pretty low because maximum students go for IT and CE. But, when you go for counselling, they give you a form in which you can choose to upgrade to a branch wherein you can fill in your choice and later, you might get upgraded if there is any vacancy.

Can I get into NMIMS, Mumbai? My rank is 2830.

Pakshal Ghiya 16th Dec, 2020

Hello Candidate,

You can easily get a seat in the Mumbai campus in the second or third list as many people with ranks around 1k - 1.5k coming in the first list itself….But given that the Mumbai campus is the most sought-after campus , you can’t really guarantee anything.

All The Best.

Rishabh Jain 14th Dec, 2020

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I suggest you to check your mail inbox once and spam folder too. There might be an email from NMIMS acknowledging successful completion of your application. In case you have not received any mail from their end, you can contact the admissions department email id and ask them for the acknowledging email.

Hope this helps. Good luck for your future.

what branches will I get in NMIMS with NPAT merit of 734?

Pakshal Ghiya 12th Dec, 2020

Hello Candidate,

Depends on which all streams have you applied to. It shouldn't be tough to get into NMIMS BBA. You'll get Mumbai easily since they have around 480 seats and any other city too since the schools there have recently been started. Also you'll get seats in engineering in Shirpur for almost any stream that you desire.

For Mumbai, I'm not very sure. It might be tough to get into fields which attract a lot of students like CS. However, probably you'll get in easily in the 2nd list there too. Have no knowledge when it comes to architecture or law.
