My merit number is 1790 and my status is waitlisted for NMIMS LAW. Do i have any chance in getting admission in nmims?? will there be a second list??? what is the cutoff for NLAT?

Sreeja Siva 5th Oct, 2020

Hi,

It depends on number of seats available after each allotment and also the number of candidates who appeared and qualified the exam. Admission for a general category student  with this rank is tough. An accurate prediction is not possible since entering and closing ranks vary every year. The candidates of waiting list have high chances in getting admission in successive allotments. So you can wait till final allotment. All the best. To know previous year NLAT cut off trends please go through the article given below

All the best.

which is good BVP Pune or NMIMS mumbai for BBA LLB?

padhyeaditi99 4th Oct, 2020

Hi,

Both colleges are great in their own ways.

Both has NAAC 'A+' and offering 5 yrs BBA LLB course.

The courses are approved by BCI at BVP.

BVP has more facilities as compared to SVKM NMIMS.

The fees is higher in NMIMS as compared to BVP.

I would recommend you to go through the official website.

Got selected for BA LLB program in Kalinga Bhubaneswar and NMIMS Navi Mumbai. Which one is best

Shreya sharma 4th Oct, 2020

Hello

Hope you're doing well.

I'll start with doing a quick detailing for both of these colleges:-

1. KIIT, BA LLB

Fees :17 Lakhs approximately.

Placements : The placements are not that good, but still are decent. There are not enough law firms recruiting students, but Banks, insurance companies etc visit the campus for recruitment. However, internships for students are taken care of.

Faculty : The faculty members are qualified and take care of the trends in the field. Students are also provided access to e-libraries for a better understanding of the curriculum.

Also, the infrastructure and campus life is also really good at KIIT, bhubaneshwar.

2. NMIMS, BA LLB.

fees : approximately 10 lakhs.

Placements : placements at NMIMS law school are excellent. Almost 100 percent of the total batch was placed last year following the statistics. Average package was around  6 lakhs per annum. Highest package offered was 16 LPA.

faculty: the faculty members are highly qualified. They focus on the curriculum with fullest importance and enthusiasm.

However, the infrastructure is not up to the mark. They just have one floor in the mithibai campus of NMIMS.

So, i'd suggest you NMIMS for law. Apart from infrastructure, NMIMS is better than KIIT in all other aspects.

Hope this will be helpful.

what should I take IT in nmims Shirpur or electronics in MIT Pune

ritikaprasad.work 30th Sep, 2020

Hey there!

To base this on facts, MIT is known for its engineering courses whereas NMIMS is looked upto for BBA and MBA courses. MIT is an institution for engineering so there's a little bias to it. Although it also depends on what branch you want. If you aren't interested in electronics at all, no point in studying that course so in that case go for NMIMS.

what would be the nmims cut off if clat 2020 cut off goes 75...

ritikaprasad.work 28th Sep, 2020

Hey there!

Although these no precise answer to this but we can round up a round estimate of ranking. There are two parameters to ranking procedure, your 12th standard percentage and your clat score. Your rank must be around 1500 to get into nmims for BALLB. Hope this helps.

Hi, you can characterize the better college on various points and characteristics.

For you I'm comparing both Symbiosis and NMIMS ;

POINTS                                                Symbiosis:-                                NMIMS:-

  • Established Year                                2008                                          2006
  • Total B.Tech Branches                        10                                              12
  • Ranking by INDIA TODAY                   12                                              14
  • Highest Package(Placement)      14.50(lakhs)/Annum            4.5(lakhs)/Median
  • Total Fees                                      10.60(lakhs)/4Years           12.46(lakhs)/4Years
  • Eligibility                                            12th(50%)                              12th(50%)
