As for your chances in admission to the mentioned colleges I am sorry but Narsee Monjee has a cutoff above 91.8% for general category and St Xaviers too is expected to have a cutoff above 91% for non christians. HR also has a cutoff above 90% and Mithibai and RA Poddar will have no less than 90% as they are premiere colleges. Moreover this year most cbse as well as isc students have got higher than usual marks hence the cutoff is only expected to increase. All the best.
Hello,
Very honestly there is no comparison possible in between the psychology and economics. Both are completely different streams. In case of mount carmel bangalore the psychology bachelor's degree is good and in case of economics then NMIMS is best for it. Both the colleges have their own successful steps. Also both the colleges have good and efficient faculty with proper facilities. Now it is completely upto your choice of interest. Go for your own kind of interest because both the studies have their own career opportunities.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
Today, analytics is the hour of need and MBA-X in Business analytics from NMIMS’s with upgrad serves the best in current era. It’s a 18 month course now (previously 15 months) with fully loaded, highly experienced faculty with Industry experts works as cherry on the top.
NMIMS is providing MBA-X in Business Analytics under NMIMS Global Access School For Continuing Education (NGA-SCE) in partnership with upgrad. It is one of the flagship courses.
Usually, such online courses come with the certification but the main catch in the course is it gives a full fledged degree. It has all the routine subject of normal MBA like HR, Marketing, Finance, Accounting etc along with subjects covering basics and analysis skills of Python, R, SQL, Tableau etc.
The course is divided into 4 terms with 5 subjects in each and a huge capstone industry relevant project which is 3 months long.
Learning is divided into 2 parts:
a. Pre-recorded sessions by faculties on upgrad platform
b. Weekend live/One-on-One session.
Timely query resolutions, dedicated students’ mentor, examinations conducted, security and sanity of the examination by the upgrad and many other things are worth the course.
Heads up to upgrad, the way they have wrapped up the whole course is totally worth the praise.
All in all this course is loaded with lots of benefits its more of career oriented with NMIMS Alumni status along with Career assistance. So, in case if you are looking to enter the Analytics field or if you have already entered and want to become an expert than definitely this course is for you.
Hello Tanmay ,
College are meant for learning and college ranking doesn't make college or teaching good but students make them.So its up to you which college you refer and take admission.
If you are good with academics and everything you can get placements from any of these college easily because you have worked hard for it.
But if you want to to rank me I would just prdect my first preference for colleges.
1.Mithabai college
2.Narsee monjee college of commerce
3.K.J Somaiya college of commerce
Looks a little difficult especially this year when the cutoffs have risen high considerably. However the final cutoffs are yet to be displayed. Obviously it depends on the number of aspirants, their results, your rank, etcc. But in general as per the previous year analysis with 63% in HSC, admission to Narsee Monjee college looks a little difficult.
Refer to the site below to know more about the same -
