hello aspirant,

the basic eligibility criteria in any nits is you need to have  75% marks in 10+2 course in physics, chemisrtry and mathematics in aggeregate. this is 65% for sc/st category.

from the previous years cutoff score to get admission in any nits you need to have atleast 90

Sorry to say,but No you can't apply for admission in any NIT college until your percentage is 75% in 12th.Also the required rank for getting admission is under 1lakh.Only then you are eligible to get admission there.But with this percentage you can apply for only private colleges and

It is very difficult to get a seat in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs with this percentile but You can try for the other state level counselling admission like Punjab, Haryana, Uttrakhand etc. To know your admission possibilities in state level colleges admission, You can use JEE Main college

The allotments of B.Tech seats in NITs will be purely based on JEE MAIN cut off.

  • During joSAA counselling each NIT releases its cut off in the form of Opening and closing Ranks after each round.
  • The official cut offs of NIT s will be released by the institutes itself.

As I have gone through their website it says that it is valid for taking admission in any college in India. So, as far as I know there will be no problem in gettiing into any college as NWAC board is concidered same as CBSE but I have read somewhere
