does jee b.architature and NATA Exam same

Atulya Himanshu 27th Jan, 2020

Hi Aaastha

No, Jee Main Paper2 And Nata are not same.

Nata -

NATA will be held twice a year from 2019 with first phase of NATA to be held in April whereas second phase will be held in July 2019.

Candidates can appear in any one of the two phases or can also appear in both the phases.

NATA Exam consists of questions from Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing

The question paper consists of two sections, Part A and Part B. Part A contains questions from Mathematics and General Aptitude and Part B from Drawing

Part A test of NATA is conducted on computer based test while Part B is conducted on paper

Admission through NATA is offered in colleges like SPA Delhi, CEPT University

Number of seats are more as participating colleges are high

Students appearing in NATA is less in comparison to JEE Main Paper 2

Jee Main Paper 2-

NTA  will also be conducting JEE Main Paper 2 2019 twice a year in January and April 2019.

Candidates can appear in any one of the two phases or can also appear in both the phases.

The JEE Main Paper 2 exam consists of questions from Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing

The JEE Main Paper 2 is categorised into Part I, II and III where Part I contains question from Mathematics, Part II from Aptitude and Part III from Drawing

Part I and II of NATA is conducted on computer based test while Part B is conducted on paper

Participating institute are NITs, GFTIs and many other prestigious colleges

Admission is limited to NITs and GFTIs and so seats are comparatively less

Number of students appearing in JEE Main Paper 2 is high

Difficulty level of JEE Main Paper 2 is promising and paper is quite tough

Hope this helps! All The Best!!

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries

my persaintail is99.69get rank

Sharon Rose Student Expert 27th Jan, 2020
Hello,
You haven't mentioned whether your given percentile is for JEE main paper 1 or 2.
Nevertheless, you can calculate your expected rank for paper 1 using the formula given below
(100-your total percentile)*869010/100
869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session for paper 2
So your rank can be calculated as
(100-99.69)*869010/100= 2693
So you expected rank will be around 2693
The total number of candidates are expected to be 1200000 in April session so it becomes (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100 and you rank changes after April session.

If it is paper 2 then the formula is
(100-your total percentile)*112679/100
112679 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session for paper 2
So your expected rank is calculated as
(100-99.69)*112679/100=349.
Your expected rank will be around 349.

You can predict the colleges which you may get using our JEE main college predictor

what is the required score in nata to get admission in cept if board percentage are 55 percentage

S. Saha Student Expert 6th Mar, 2020

There are almost 80 seat for B.Arch in CEPT University among which 40 seats are reserved for Gujarat candidates and other 40 for all India candidates.

Regarding the marks in NATA which is an exam of 200 marks. Out of that 200 marks you need to score at least 70 marks to qualify for the application for admission.

In the borads you need at least 50% marks. 50% of 12th Score and 50% of your NATA score sums up to your merit.

The cutoff in the past had been around 80 merit score. So for admission into this college you need to have minimum score of 120 in NATA exam.

Sir/Mam can i know whether what is the cut off score i should get in NATA exam to get seat in good institute of architecture. And i am belongs to obc girls general category. Is there any other entrance exams to join architecture in good institutes.

Sanjay Khandelwal 26th Jan, 2020
For different University and college there are different cut off required, if you want to get into good college or university please focus on getting the best marks you can score rather than thinking about cut off. If you think about cut off you will not be able to score good and will lack. This is a phycologicallt proved one. NATA will help you to get into best artitectural college. NATA is the best and I think only national level exam for artitecture course.if you can tell me which state or city you prefer specifically then I can give you previous cut offs.
