can I go to BE in RV college of engineering through NATA exam?

Siddhi Shenoy 8th Jan, 2020

Hello Bharath,

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture or NATA is an entrance examination for the admission in Architecture colleges and not BE/Engineering colleges. Therefore, if you are looking forward to take admission for Architecture course in RV college of Architecture, you can do so by answering NATA. To get in RV College of Engineering, you need to answer either of the entrance exams: KCET, JEE mains or COMEDK.

Good luck!

which one batter JEE Mains (2nd paper) Or NATA

apuroop sri durgesh 22nd Nov, 2019

The answer depends on your preference of college as both the exams have their own importance.  JEE Mains is conducted by Central Government whereas NATA is conducted by Council of Architecture. The institutes that give admission on the basis of JEE Mains paper 2 are NIT'sand GFTI's(Government Funded technical Institutes) whereas by NATA you get admission into Private colleges and State level colleges, other than NITs and IITs. Jee mains paper 2 gives chance to join at national level colleges and NATA exam helps to join at state level colleges. This difference can be simply indicated as difference between state level(NATA) and central level exams(JEE).

what is minimum marks required in nata to get free seat in government colleges in karnataka

Harshita Gupta 25th Dec, 2019
Hey,
On the basis of 2019 results, the qualifying marks for maths and Aptitude is 30 out of 120 and for drawing it is 20 out of 80. Overall, you have to score 50% minimum to qualify the examination. The cut-off depends on:
  • The total number of applicants
  • Total number of questions
  • The difficulty level of the paper
  • Previous Year NATA Cut Off trends

For free seat in any top colleges, you have to get a NATA score of 150+. For general category, the rank should be near 100-150. For CEPT, the cut-off for 2019 was 73.63. For more details, please check the link below:
