National Aptitude Test in Architecture
Hope you are resolved! Thanks
Hi Akash,
According to your NATA score and percentage your final marks out of 100 might be around 72 if i am not wrong and at this score and your BC-B category you have a good chance of getting a seat in JNAFAU. Either SSS or regular but you may get a seat. Last year's cutoff as such is not relevant as the merit list is calculated according to the results of NATA and Board % which might differ greatly sometimes. So what matters is your rank in the merit list. That actually gives you a rough idea about your situation. If you have registered for the counselling then the list might be out as laatest as 26th of July. So stay tuned.
Good Luck !!
Hi Ravi,
See the thing about JNAFAU is that it prepares a merit list of the registered candidates according to which college is allocated. This time this list will be out as latest as 26th of July. The rank in that list will give you a better picture about your scenario. Out of the 80 seats in JNAFAU 40 are regular and 40 are self financing type. You have a decent NATA score but the % is a bit low which might make your final score in maybe 70s out of 100 and you should be well above 78 for admission. Still be hopeful.
Hello aspirant! Let me to inform you that admission to bachelor of architecture is done based on two national level exams - jee paper 2 and Nata. Henceforth different colleges have different eligibility criteria that you have to meet with your neet score and class 12 exams. Then different colleges have different forms for admission on their website. There you have to give all the details and then the college releases a merit list. Therefore you need to personally contact the college in which you want admission. So check the official website of college you want.

Hello aspirant,
Well the thing is that, there is no separate counselling process for B.Arch course through NATA score. To get a seat for B.Arch through NATA you have to first clear the cutoff for NATA and qualify it. To qualify NATA you have to get at least 30 marks in mathematics and general apptitude and 20 marks in drawing, however the overall marks should be 70. Since you have 102 marks, so you are NATA qualified. Now to get admission into colleges accepting NATA, you have to attend the respective colleges counselling processes for admission. Below I have listed some of the colleges in Bangalore where they accept NATA score -
So you can try attending the counselling session of the above mentioned colleges and see whether are you getting the colleges or not through your NATA score.
You can also go through this link and checkout the details about all the colleges accepting NATA score : https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/ranking/top-engineering-colleges-in-bangalore-accepting-nata-score

Hi,
NATA papers are checked by some of the best teachers and it will be highly unlikely that there will be a correction mistake, all the drawings are checked with accurate precision and the chance for increasing of marks is very low. Although you can count on your marks increasing because sometimes some teachers give the studnets marks so that he/she can pass the exam.
So I wish you best of luck
Thank You
