I got 92 marks in nata 2019 and with boards percent 93 can i get admission in government colleges

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hey !

Your boards percentage is great but not so , is your NATA score. For admission in good government college , you need a petty decent score of 150+ . More over anything above 130 will get you into a very good college (Private) and a score above 150 is required if you want admission in a government college. Anything between 100 and 130 will get you into a decent college and if your score is below 100 then it might be a little difficult to get into a college of your choice.

Now as you have your board score above 90 % so there is a chance to get in a good college, so you can try.

Now how will the admissions will be done in the colleges as per Nata July 2019 exam? Will the Maharashtra dte will conduct cap rounds.

Vikas Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

The Council of Architecture (COA), which is the exam conducting body, doesn’t conduct counselling of NATA. Instead, candidates have to apply in the desired institute among the participating institutes separately based on their NATA scores for admission to B.Arch course. To be eligible for participation in NATA 2019 counselling, candidates have to score the minimum cutoff marks in the two individual components and also in aggregate. Additionally, the NATA applicant would also have to meet all the other eligibility criteria specific to the institute. Again, since there is no centralized counselling of NATA 2019, there is no uniformity in the counselling processes adopted by these institutes.May be possible that Maharastra dte will conduct cap rounds. You can check this link for more info.

how to do nata college admission process

srinja.006_9773413 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hello Ayush.

Well COA (Council of Architecture) is a body that conducts the NATA examination but does not conduct separate counselling. The eligible candidates (candidates who have scored the minimum cutoff marks in the two individual components and also in aggregate) have to apply in the desired institute among the participating institutes separately based on their NATA scores for admission into B.Arch course. Along with this, the candidate will have to meet all the other eligibility criteria specific to the institute.

I will suggest you to visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nata-counselling to get detailed information regarding NATA counselling and admission process.

Hope that helped.

Hi Ayush,

You have a really good score in NATA and a good chance in SJJCA. There are total of 67 seats offered for B.Arch which are filled on the basis of merit and reservation policy. Follow this procedure :

1.Visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra and regsiter yourself.

2.Fill in all the necessary details.

3.Pay the registration fees and download your Application form.

Good Luck !!
