However , to be truly competitive , especially for general - category seats , aim for a score closer to 120-150 out 200 - which aligns with typical cutoffs seen in similar architecture institutes .
With 61% in 12th boards and 74 marks in NATA, getting admission in top architecture colleges in Maharashtra through government quota is difficult, as the cutoff for good colleges is usually 90+ in NATA.

With a JEE Main Paper 2 rank of 29,930, it will be tough to get into top government architecture colleges like SPA Delhi, SPA Bhopal, or NIT Trichy, since their closing ranks are usually within 3–8K. At your rank, you might still get lower NITs or state government architecture colleges if the cutoff goes higher in later rounds, but chances are slim without NATA.
If you appear for NATA, scoring above 120–130 out of 200 can greatly improve your chances of getting into good state government architecture colleges like UVCE (Bengaluru), Jadavpur University, or CEPT Ahmedabad, depending on your state quota and counselling process. A high NATA score can offset the JEE Paper 2 rank in state-level admissions where both scores are considered.
In short with just JEE rank, options are limited with a strong NATA score, your scope for quality government colleges improves a lot.

I understand it could be frustrating that the result was slightly delayed for the NATA exam which was held on may 17, 2025. As per the official schedule of the CoA results are declared within seven days of each test so for may 17 the result was expected by 24th may. However this time it was slightly delayed and it was released on 27th may, 2025.
Therefore, in order to check your result you should visit to the official NATA website, log in with your application number and password and your scorecard will be available there. You should also keep checking your mail and SMS for notifications from CoA.
In case you cannot see your result you can contact NATA helpdesk directly for more clarity.
Do not worry, such minor delays may happen sometimes and they are unusual. Please do check the official website for more accurate updates and once you can see your scorecard download and save it for future admission procedure.
