National Aptitude Test in Architecture
Hello Charitha ,
For addmission in B.arch you need atleast 50% marks of the total in any examination for the same.
For IITs the addmission is based on JEE advance rank but for NITs it's based on JEE mains paper 2 for architecture. Usually the cutoff goes above 70% , so you need a really good rank in JEE paper 2 to apply for NIT.
Considering facts , the closing rank at NIT tirruchalapali was around 872 and at NIT patna was 2377.
So if you want to get into NITs you need around 2.5 K rank in your JEE mains paper 2 exam.
Nits don't consider NATA score. So all the very best.
Hope this helps. Good day :)
Hello Dhanush,
We understand your concern related to this query. PLease note that you have just mentioned your NATA 2019 exam's overall percentage but, to guage your eligibility you also need to mention the following:
1) Maths - Total (20 questions)
2) General Aptitude - Total (40 questions)
3) Drawing - Total (2 questions)
All the best!
It may not help you completely Shweta. Your nata score may fetch you a good college in B.Arch as well as advance architecture learning. Your NATA scores will definately provide you a number of colleges to look upto. Keep in touch with Architecture colleges and start visiting the official websites to be more secured for your seat.
Nata merit score is calculated as
1/4 nata marks +1/2 hsc score which in your case goes like 26+32=58 which is very less to get a good government colleges so you van go for private institute where you will get fee waiver by your score definitely as many private college offer it by the score
All the best
Hello Rudranee Ghosh
NATA marks of 104 is not good enough to get you entry to top ranked colleges and so you’ll have to go to lower ranked colleges. However, there are a few new and emerging colleges that are much better then government colleges and private B grade colleges but being new are ranked lower. You should apply there. I suggest you look up World School of Planning & Architecture, in World University of Design, Sonipat. They have however only 40 seats, so you’ll need to hurry up and see if they are still open. It’ll be very good if you can get in there.
Hope this will helpful
Good Luck.
Hello Jyoti,
Thanks for asking . So with the given data your aggregate score would be given by dividing your NATA score by 4 and board percentage by 2. It would be then, 139/4 + 76.2/2 = 72.85/100 and its a very good score . I am not sure you are asking about which college but with this score you can land in some good colleges as well. To check more https://www.embibe.com/exams/nata-cut-off/ try this.
Hope it helps.
Hello,
You can go and check the official website of the NATA there would be a portal to upload marks. You can upload it there. here is the link, you can contact them and ask for solution if any mistake is done.
link:- http://www.nata.in/contact.html
They can guide you better and accurately as they deal with those things. Check the link for eligibilty:- https://online.cbexams.com/nata/images/gazette.pdf?v0
Hope it helps!
Hi Anuradha,
To get a vague idea on admissions into architecture colleges, your NATA cutoff is required. NATA cutoff is different from NATA score. The calculation of NATA marks is done by adding the 12th board or HSC percentage (outof 100) with the half of NATA score.
If your cutoff is above 120, you can try for VIT architecture.
All The Best.
