Hello Vaishnavi,

NATA Eligibility Criteria

To become eligible for NATA a candidate is required to fulfill a certain set of eligibility conditions. Mentioned below are the predefined criteria set up by the conducting bodies:

General Criteria

The lower age limit for appearing in NATA has been waived. However, the candidate has to comply with any age constraints that may be specified by respective Counselling/ Admission Authority.

To fill the ‘Total Marks’ and ‘Obtained Marks’ fields for Class 10th Standard has become Optional now.

In view of 10th Std Grade cards from which marks is not easily obtainable, Application Form fields "Total Marks", "Obtained Marks" are made Optional.

Candidates who have passed his/her Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent exam, having Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to appear for NATA 2019.

Candidates who have passed 10+3 diploma with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream from Central/ State Government are also eligible to apply for NATA. Mathematics is a compulsory subject for this as well.

He/she must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in SSC/10+2 or equivalent examination. The marks cannot be rounded off, as if the candidate has secured 49.9% marks in his/her qualifying exam then the marks would be counted as 49.9% only.

Score of NATA 2019 is valid for a period of 24 months i.e. 2 years from the date a candidate appears for NATA exam. After that he/she has to again register for the next NATA exam and has to get a valid NATA Score/Rank

For students of international/ NRI status, NATA 2019 Eligibility remains the same as it is for the Indian nationals. There is no separate set of Eligibility parameters set for international/NRI candidates who wants to appear for NATA 2019

For Admission To B.Arch. Course

A candidate who has qualified a recognized Aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2019 are eligible.

Also, the criterion mentioned in the General Criteria is applicable for this as well.

Hello aspirant, congratulations on performing well in NATA 2019. Besides the fact that your score is exceptionally wel, I would like to tell you that admission in B. Arch in Government colleges generally takes place on the basis of either JEE MAINS Paper 2 or NATA. According to your score, you might face a bit of competititon from the category students. However, I would suggest you that you should keep on applying to the colleges government as well as private in order to secure a seat.
