National Aptitude Test in Architecture
Hello Sundarraj,
For NATA you need to have a 50% overall in you 10th standard and 12th standard seperately and a 40% in NATA that is 80 marks of the total. Check if your overall total is 50% in 10 seperately and 12th seperately. Your NATA score is good enough.
Hello
110 in NATA is a pretty decent score ,I wouldn't get into top college ,try for lower one as your PCM aggregate lower your chances of getting into a good college .Don't loose hope ,keep all possibilities coming and best of luck.
Hello Sintu, there are really a lot of Government colleges that accept NATA scores for B.Arch admission. But since you haven't asked for any particular college or for the colleges in a particular state,it is not easy to list out all the colleges in India.
It would be good if you could say the region where you are looking for a college.
Below is the criteria (Official announcement) for admission to colleges through NATA scores for B.Arch seat:
As per Council of Architecture regulations, a candidate applying to any school / colleges of architecture in India should have 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 40% score in NATA, i.e. at least 80/200, for consideration of admission into first year of 5 year B.Arch. Degree Course.
Hope this helps !
practically its very hard but still you can hope to clear it by practising previous year question and understanding waht type of questions are asked
Hello ,
For addmission in B.Arch , colleges generally ask for 50% marks in 12th PCM and a valid score in NATA. Talking about the top universities , they consider a ratio of 50:50 of 12th and NATA score.
Considering your score , you have pretty good score in 12th and also a fair score in NATA. For the highly top ranked colleges you need 130+ score in NATA. But you can apply for the government colleges and also for the average ranked colleges. If you are from state board , you will easily be able to apply in colleges of your state , they have some 50-75% reservation. If other boards , you might face some difficultly but your score is enough to get addmission in a decent college.
Hope this information was useful. All the best.
Hello daisy. I am sorry to say but your score is not upto the mark to get into the government. There is a very little chance that you might get into the government college. But if in case you can manage going through management quota. then all the best.
Do you need 50% in pcm also for admission in b.arch
Dear Aspirant,
Getting into a government college you sholud score a decent marks which is 140 or above. They calculate the combined marks of your NATA and 12th board,First they will make your 124 score out of 200 into 100 and then add your 12th marks. If the marks qualify the norm then surely you will get government college.I hope it helped.
