National Aptitude Test in Architecture
In order to get you nata rank, divide your nata score by 2 and add your board percentage that is out of 100 and divide the total by 2. This will provide you with your final nata rank
hello Gauri. There's a chance that you can get admission in DY patil college. See DY Patil college needs 50% in board and it also depends on your mht-cet marks. IF you have got about 100 in cet there is a chance you will get admission in this college. If in case you can manage going through management quota then you can get admission easily.
Looking at your rank there is very little chance that you might get into NIT. But you will surely get into a good government college of any state.
Hello,
You have a nice score in your entrance and congaratulations for it.
for NIT, JEE Main Paper 2 cutoff is:your rank must be below 7k.
NIT,Patna has a closing rank as 5569 where as NIT,Raipur has a closing rank of 7321.
NIT,Calicut has the lowest closing rank as 2136.
so if you are in the range then you can get an NIT Admission.
for NATA:-
you can go for any college accepting NATA you want as you have qualifed the exam.
All the best!
Hi Emilia ,
Congragulations on both your board and NATA marks ,both are very good marks .For RV college of architecture the qualification eligibility is to score atleast 80 marks in NATA and a 50% in your aggregates , which you have clearly secured and hence you are totally eligible into the college via merit.
You have nothing to worry of , consider yourself enrolled already .
Best of Luck on your Future.
Let's begin from your NATA score, it will be converted to 100, which will be 45 and then your board's marks will be added to calculate your total merit.
As this is clearly less than 100, so, to be honest, you can't get admission into any government architectural college through your NATA score even if use your OBC quota. Now coming to your JEE Paper 2 score, according to your percentile it quite hard as your rank will be around 30,000 but all the good colleges get closed before 20,000. So, I would suggest you go for it next time with uttermost dedication and hard work and you will definitely score above 100.
All the best
Hello Vishita,
You scored decent marks enough to get admission.
Yes, definitely you can get admission in Architecture college. But you will not get admission in top and good architecture colleges. You get a mild and under-rated college.
Best way to avoid this try to reapply for exams.
You can use College Predictor(which predicts colleges based on your marks/rank):https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
Good Luck!
Hope it helps you.
For any further queries please feel free to comment.
Thank you.
Your jee marks is good enough to get admission for b. arch. for paper 2 65% is enough even for obc to get a seat in any nit
As per the last rank details of 2018 in GECT, you will have to secure atleast a rank higher than 200 (considering 3 round of allotments). B arch rank list is published considering the NATA score as well as the percentage of marks secured in senior secondary board exam. Average of both the marks are taken for the ranking purpose. A score of around 120+ is considered to be a good score for NATA. So, 119 seems to be a good score comparatively, and having a percentage marks of 92 for your +2 will increase the probability of getting into GECT. Hope you get it. Good Luck!
