Ive submitted the application form for attending all three attempts for Nata but now i want to write only the 2nd and 3rd ones. In this case will the best marks out of the two be taken or the average of the 2nd and 3rd attempts?

Piyush 22nd Apr, 2022

It is not a problem at all if you wish to attempt only in 2nd and 3rd attempt as the best of all the 3 attempts  will be taken into the consideration and the best out of 3 marks will be considered.

is it possible to give nata without puting mathmatics marks in the application form for nata. and also it considerable to give nata and take admission to architecture on the basis of 2 years diploma in interior design without mathamatics

Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th Apr, 2022

Hello,

The eligibility criteria to apply for NATA is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board or must have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject. It is mandatory for a candidate to study Mathematics in Diploma.

As you haven't studied Diploma in 10+3 format you are not eligible to apply for NATA. A two year Diploma in Interior Design is not valid to apply for NATA. So you must either study 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject. You have to fill the marks scored in the qualifying examination while filling NATA application form. To check the eligibility criteria click on the link below
