Yes, you cannot give both the exams on the same date at the same time, so you should go with your first priority.
NATA (National aptitude test for architecture) exam is for getting admission into 5-year B.arch course and as you said that your AMUEE exam is for B.Tech.

In order to take admission in IIEST for B.Arch programme you have to appear for JEE Main Architect exam.

For other courses which are listed below  you have to appear for JEE Main.

Electronics and Telecommunication

Last date to apply for NATA application form is 2nd March 2018. 

You can fill the application form from 16th January 2018.

In order to be eligible to appear for the NATA 2018 entrance exam, it is manadatory for you to have scored at least 

50% in your 10+2., even if you have maths as the compulsory subject.
