Hello Student

You have scored 130 in NATA exam means National aptitude test for architecture out of  total 200 marks. It is a good marks definitely. Cept University means centre for  environment and planning Technology. This is one of the best architecture colleges in India. It is  in Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

To take admission in this  University candidate has to get atleast 50% marks in 12 standard examination with PCM group and have to get at least 60% in in NATA scoring that at least you have to get 120 out of total 200 marks of NATA examination.

According to your marks there is a a good chance for you to take admission in centre for environment and planning Technology Ahmedabad Gujarat Technology

My board exam result is 75% and my nata score is 120 .I am not in general catogery .Can I get admission in cept ?

Aman Mishra 1st Jul, 2021

Hello,

The marks which you have mentioned ie, Board exam marks as well as entrance exam exam marks, i would say that its a quite decent score and to get more clarification you should first try to get the rank of your marks so that you will get a better idea and then you can easily compare your rank with different colleges cutoff. Now seeing at your marks you should definitely try for the college you have mentioned ie, CEPT University because you have a very high chance and also the college is a remarkable one.

Thank you..

what are the criteria to get admission at MIT(US) . And also tell me about applying scholarships at this.

Virat Srivastava 28th Jun, 2021

How to build profile to get in MIT:

  • Try to score 1550+ out of 1600 in SAT. Try to score 34+ out of 36 in ACT. Though they not care of these marks so much, its of need only.

  • You will have an edge over others if you are National Olympiad Winner or an athlete(State or National winner).

  • In school do whatever you are interested in and get awards in that.

  • Do your best to remain at peak in your class.

  • Do social and helpful work but do it passionately.

  • Keep good relations with your teachers as they will give you letter of recommendation in future.

  • You should have excellent essay writing quality.

Steps to get in MIT:

  • MIT’s acceptance rate is about 6.7%. It has its own application portal called MyMIT, and you have to sign up there.

  • The first part of your application will include your personal details and identity. Being an international student, you will be required to describe your cultural background in short 150–250-word writeups. The essay question in this part is about how the world you come from has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

  • Choose you want early action or regular lot. Both have same acceptance rate in MIT.

  • Choose your major here, this is to test your reasoning. Like, if you like  engineering then you need to tell why. It has some word limit.

  • Tell about your subjects you took after high school.

  • Try to keep your SAT/ACT score higher as many people who have applied have scored much in these exams.

  • You have to write about your four activities which mean most to you, both scholastic and non-scholastic. Mention recent onces (ninth grade and up). It is an essay type question.

  • MIT requires three short response essays (250 words max) to understand you as a person and find out what’s important to you. The topics could be anything from what you do for fun, how did you contribute to your community to the most difficult challenges you’ve faced and how you’ve overcome them.

  • You are required to submit two teacher evaluations, one from math or science and the other from the humanities or language domain. Additionally, a report from your school counselor is necessary too.

MIT only accepts best of best profiles.

Different courses have different eligibilities but these are the necessary steps to be taken.

The students admitted in the MIT university are among the top innovators and a separate portal- College Scholarship Service (CSS) by the College Board is used to register such applicants for financial aid. Students also get scholarship through SAT exams score.

Hope, it helps!
