National Aptitude Test in Architecture

This year, the entrance exam will only have questions from Aptitude, and there is no drawing test.The Aptitude section of NATA consists of Diagrammatic Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Inductive Reasoning, Situational Judgment, Logical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning.General knowledge of the candidates related to mathematics and drawing may be assessed in the aptitude section . Usually, NATA 2020 exam is divided into two parts including Part-A as Drawing Test and Part-B as Test on Scientific Ability and General Aptitude. The Part A -Drawing test will include three questions on drawing skill and Part B will have 15 questions from PCM and 35 questions from general aptitude and logical reasoning.

For apply for NATA there are some steps:-
you have to visit the official website of NATA to register themselves, then you have fill your personal details. After filling you details, there is application number generate. then you have to create your password for login next time. then you have to upload your documents. And at last you have to pay the fees.

If there is a discrepancy in the admit card despite giving correct information in the online application you can reach out the NATA helpdesk and notify them about the issue. You will be issued with a new admit card with correct details as provided by you in the application form. The contact details are given below

You can reach the helpdesk from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. You need to provide your details such as roll number, name, correct date of birth and your issues to the above mentioned Email address or you can call them and notify.
If you have not given the correct date of birth while filling the online application form then it cannot be corrected. You have to apply for NATA second session with correct details and appear for NATA second session. You may be allowed to appear for the NATA first session but you may not get admission if the details are incorrect.
If there are any discrepancies in the admit card we would suggest you to please report it to the authorities. The incorrect details in the admit card will be rectified and you may get a new admit card. This is in case if the information provided by you was correct in the online application form that you have filled but there is discrepancy in the details given in the admit card. If you have given incorrect date of birth then you may not change the date of birth given in the admit card and your candidature may get cancelled. Here are the help desk details

If it is resolved you do not have to take a year drop. You will get admission in a college if you have the required cut off score that is specified by the institute in which you are seeking admission.

lets not think about year dropping, first check whats the correction facility available to you. NATA 2021 exam has two attempts, however for first attempt correction window has over. nata first session correction window was available from - March 26 to April 1, 2021. things which can be corrected in correction window was as follows:

now see Availability of NATA application form correction window for second session is May 25-30, 2021, so you can still corrected it when next time correction window would open.

Council of Architecture conducts National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). As per the information available in NATA 2021 information brochure the total number of questions are 125. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The language of the exam is English. The type of questions that will be asked are
The questions will carry either 1 mark,2 marks or 3 marks and 125 questions have to be answered in 180 minutes. The total marks are 200 marks. It is not mentioned in the information brochure if there is negative marking or not. Last year there was no negative marking for NATA. But NATA 2021 exam pattern has been changed. Also the subject wise number of questions that will be asked is not mentioned the information brochure. Nata is national aptitude of architecture right. So kindly informing you that NITs don't accept these scores.
NITs give admission through josaa counselling process.
They accept admission through Joint counselling by Josaa i.e on the basis of JEE Mains B. Arch paper-2.
But IITs accept the NATA score. As you know that they are pretty good and excellent place for faculty and placements. So in order to get admission in these types of institutions you will need to score a above average score.
The Department of Architecture-Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee stands at number 2 with a cumulative score of 74.2/100.

A target score of 140+ is what you need to focus on to get a good rank in each state.
