I got 125.5 marks in nata and 83.8% in 12th , so is there any chance for me to get into a good college in kerala?

Hello Aspirant,

Seeing your category and NATA score, is is difficult to say whether you would get admission into a good college or not. Since the cutoff of NATA accepting colleges varies and changes every year depending upon seat availability, no. of students appeared and exam difficulty level.

There are a lot of Architecture colleges that you could apply to seeing and considering your category and score. You can see the list of colleges that accept NATA score given below,

Since Kerala is your home state, you have a good chances of getting a good college over there. Also, the cutoff for students coming under home state quota is also low as compared to others. You can see the complete list of colleges accepting NATA score in your home state Kerala given below,

Hello aspirant,

After the result declaration, NATA marks get normalized which is calculated by Council of Architecture. The method they use to calculate the scores is given below.

If you have scored 113.5 in NATA and 74.3% in your boards then your normalized score is =113.5/4+74.3/2=65.5

After this you will be allotted your respective rank and you can apply for the counselling process .There are high chances that you will be getting a descent college based on your category. The cutoff will decide for admission in any institute and also seat availability and category of students in a particular institute can be a distinguishable factor. It varies from colleges to colleges. You can get more information from mentioned link.

Your admission through NATA based on merit system. You have to understand how to calculate merit through NATA.

Your NATA score is 102 so divide 102 by 2 i.e., 102/2 = 51.

Now, we calculate the percentage of 10+2 i.e., (399*100)/600 = 66.5

Then add both score i.e., 51 + 66.5 = 117.5

Now, 117.5/2 = 58.75

Your merit score is 58.75

Your overall merit is less than 60. Normally college accept NATA merit score is 60+, but some college have low merit list.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 22nd Sep, 2020

hi,

see cutoff score changes every year and it is quite difficult to predict colleges right now, there is certain factors in which cutoff score depends on like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, however at this score you have chances in nit raipur, nit harimpur in home state quota, nit patna in ALL india Quota.

however you may use careers360 jee main paper 2 college predictor tool to know about your probable college,
