arpan00002 4th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

You got 112.5 marks in NATA & 85% in 12th. You asked in which type of colleges you may get a seat.

Look,

With greater than 155 marks, one can get government college.

With 125-155, one can get top level private college.

With 110-125, one can get private college.

So, you have a good chance in private architecture colleges.

All the best  !!

I am from Himanchal pradesh I got 81 % in my plus two boards and 143.5 in nata will I be able to get admission into CEPT .Being in General Catagory.?

Mrinalini Sarkar 21st Oct, 2020

Hello,

As you have mentioned you belong to general category and you have scored 143.5 in NATA which means you have qualified NATA for B.Arch. Any marks above 110 is considered to be a decent score in NATA. According to your marks I think you will be able to get admission into CEPT. The basic eligibility criteria needed for admission is firstly you need to qualify NATA and secondly you have a minimum score of 50% in 12th standard. Both of which you qualify.

Hope you got your answer.

Good luck.

Is Jee main paper 1 is compulsory for getting into an IIT or we can get into it by Jee main paper 2 ?

rgautam.rs 11th Sep, 2020
No.you need not clear JEE Mains Paper 1 to get admission into B.Arch / B.Planning in NITs and CFTIs.

But, you don't need to appear for JEE -Main paper 2 in order to qualify for architecture at IITs.

You must need to appear for JEE Main paper-1 and need to qualify it. After qualifying for JEE-main ,one need to appear for JEE advanced exam. After qualifying JEE-Advanced, one need to appear for a special test called AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) for getting admission in architecture department of IITs.

I have 131 marks in nata and 83 percentage in plus two

ABHIK SHAW 11th Sep, 2020

Hello Steev,

NATA scores are calculated on the basis of the following formula-

Marks obtained in NATA/2 + percentage marks obtained in boards.

As per the above formula your desired NATA score is 148.5.

The cutoffs change every year based upon various factors including total marks, number of students appearing for the examination, total number of seats, etc.

Based upon our marks you have fair and good chances of getting admission in some of the good Architecture colleges.

Thank you.
