l got 112.5 marks in NATA 2020 and 94.3 percentile in JEE paper 2. l had 96% in Kerala board exam. What is my NATA rank? Could I get admission in government colleges?

jishua thomas 5th Sep, 2020

hello aspirant,

the jee paper 2 score is not considered for the admission in government colleges in kerala.

your nata score and the 12th board percentage is combined in the form of 1:2 ratio and then the rank is declared. AS far as your details are concerned your rank comes around 350-450 which is good but not upto the mark for the government college, since kerala have only 4 government college for architecture. you can get the best private institute like. college of architecture, trivandrum, tkm school of arch, kollam or avani institute

Sir/madam I have scored 117.5 in nata and have scored 90% in 12 th board and I am from SC caste, can I get into some top colleges accepting NATA. If yes then can you please name some colleges which will accept such grades. Please

arpan00002 6th Nov, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You scored 117.5 narks in NATA & also scored 90% in 12th board.

Now, look, your nata marks is quite medium & your marks in board exam is good. Here's a marks vs college list for nata:

With 150-170, one will get a good government seat

With 130-150, one will get a descent private seat

With 110-130, one will get a private seat

So,  you may get a medium type of private architecture college. You have also chances to get good private ones.

All the best!!

How will Nata 2020 merit list based on?

Anirudh Bhat 5th Sep, 2020
Hi Shweta
The NATA 2020 phase 1 results have been declared on September 4 2020 that was yesterday. You can check you results on www.nata.in by logging in with your username and password through this website. The minimum marks required will be mostly 80 out of 200 for you to qualify. But the merit list will be based on individual colleges and how they want it to be. So based on ranks they will put out individual merit lists so there is no fixed chance to predict how a college will publish its merit list

I scored 173 in Nata and 92% in cbse board. Will I get admission in ms university

Nimish Yadav 15th Oct, 2020

Hello student ,

You haven't provided your category so I am assuming as a general category . Based on the data you provided your final NATA merit score as per calculation is

NATA score= 173/2 = 86.5

CBSE percentage= 92

Final merit score= (86.5+92)/ 2 = 89.25

As general CBSE Cutoff of MS university is around 80-82. So , there are good chances of you getting a college . And your chances increases if you are from home state .

Hope it will help you !!!
