This depends on the cadets ,in which field one would get to serve the nation. 

Actually youngsters are not given desk jobs in NDA . Mainly high ranked officers and the one who has served for long time gets desk job.

For the Airforce,You must have a 6/6 vision in one eye and 6/9 in the other that is correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia. Near vision in each eye should be N-5.
