my date of birth is 10 July 2003 . am I eligible for NDA 2023 ?

Dear aspirant

To be eligible to NDA 1 2023 a candidate must be born in between July 2, 2004- July 1, 2007 and for NDA 2 2023 a candidate must be born in between January 2, 2005- January 1, 2008.

candidates between the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years must have passed class 12th are eligible for writing NDA 2023

As you will be over 19.5 yrs old, you will not be eligible for writing NDA 2023 any of the two sessions.

You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.

  • ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    • Age - 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 years(at the time of commencement of course)
    • Nationality – Indian
    • Gender - Men and Women
    • Educational Qualifications - 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Appearing final year students can also eligible to apply.

My DOB is 1 April 2005 . How many attempts i will get for NDA?

Dear aspirant

According to the UPSC notification 2022, candidates between the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years must have passed class 12th.

To be eligible to NDA 1 2023 a candidate must be born in between July 2, 2004- July 1, 2007 and for NDA 2 2023 a candidate must be born in between January 2, 2005- January 1, 2008.

so if we calculate your age you are 17 yrs old now. And you will be 19.5 yrs old by sept 2024. So you can be almost total of 5 attempts from now if we calculate from your age one in 2022 and other 2 attempt in 2023 and 2 attempt in 2024.

The age eligibility criteria to be eligible to appear for NDA is that a candidate's age must be in between 16.5 years to 19.5 years . To be eligible to NDA 1 2023 a candidate must be born in between July 2, 2004- July 1, 2007 and for NDA 2 2023 a candidate must be born in between January 2, 2005- January 1, 2008..

No, you are not eligible for NDA 2023

This is because,

To be eligible for nda -1, 2023 examination , you should have born between 2nd July 2004 to 1st July , 2007 but you fail to fulfill this criteria with your mentioned date of birth

i am arts student in 12 class without math so what subject i prepare for nda exam

Hello

If you are an art student then you are eligible for only Army wing of NDA.

It doesn't matter even if you are an Arts student and doesn't have maths you will still have to prepare maths and GAT for NDA

This is because,

NDA examination pattern and syllabus and  everything is same for everyone irrespective of what you have studied in your class 12 and whether you had maths or not

For your reference,

------------------------) Short breaks :- take short breaks in between your studies, studying continuously can be brain tiring and it becomes difficult to focus and study with concentration, so take breaks to relax and refresh your brain.

------------------------) Set  goals :- set daily & weekly goals to cover your syllabus and meet them without any fail.

I have myopia in my eyes. Left - 0.75 and right - 1.25. Am i eligible for NDA?

Dear Aspirant,

NDA/NA Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice a year in the month of april and december to select young boys and girls in indian armed forces as officers.

Medical standard of eyesight for NDA is as follows-

A candidate should be able to read in a distant vision chart 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in worse eye with or without glasses. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism.

Glasses are allowed in NDA medicals

Medical standard of eyesight for NDA is given below:-

Candidates who were not born on or before July 1, 2007, but before July 2, 2004, are eligible to take the 2022 NDA Exam.
