I am now in class 10th wbbse board how can I start my NDA preparation now?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 22nd Mar, 2022

Hello

NDA maths syllabus is basically 11th and 12th syllabus, so you can start your NDA preparation in class 11 . Also, it's 10th and  it's your board year so focus on it, still if you want to prepare for nda in 10th itself then I would suggest you to cover GAT syllabus of NDA along with 10th syllabus or  you first complete your 10th syllabus and then start your nda full preparation i. e  both Maths & GAT following the below tips:-

can i paas in written exam of nda if I pass sectional cut off in maths and gat in nda please answer quickly

Aditya 21st Mar, 2022

Hi aspirant,

Clearing the sectional cutoffs is important in order to qualify the examination but it would not mean that you would clear the overall cut off by just clearing the sectional cut off. Let me simplify it for you, for example you have got at least 25% sometimes it may be 30% and clear the maths and general aptitude paper by clearing sectional cutoff but you would not be qualified for the second round until and unless the sum of both is equal or more than the minimum cut off marks released by the authorities. In general trends it is seen that the cutoffs are around 350 now days and to achieve that you would have to perform much better than just clearing the sectional cut off.

Hope it helps!

i am in class 9th and i want to join NDA please gave me a suggestion through which aap i can prepare well through online mode and how prepare and what timetable should i follow to join nda specially i am a girl can u give me a better suggestion

pdwords Student Expert 9th Apr, 2022

Hello,

It's good that you're thinking of appearing for nda, and it's a welcome change that now even girls are being allowed into this, if you're in 9th standard then it's too early to start your preparation for NDA, also you need to sustain your interest, yes if  you have free time then go through the syllabus, previous year papers to get an idea about the pattern of the exam, what can help you in preparation for NDA is if you are already focused on your academic studies, that helps a lot in the sense you don't have to put in extra efforts in terms of conceptual understanding, of course practice will be needed to analyze your  preparation level, as of now focus on your studies, that should be a priority for you, and as I said when you get free time try to go through the syllabus, past papers etc, as NDA covers majorly 11th and 12th standard syllabus, so once  you get into these classes, focus well in your studies, try to give your best, this will make your foundation quite strong. and you will be able to manage your preparation well.
