we can apply neet with out cast income certificate

Afreen 5th Mar, 2025

To apply for NEET, you don't necessarily need to submit a caste income certificate at the time of application. However, there are some important points to consider:

  • Application Process

During the NEET application process, you'll be asked to provide personal details, educational information, and choose your category (General, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS).You can proceed with the application without uploading a caste income certificate.

  • Documents Required for Counselling

However, if you're eligible for admission through the NEET counselling process, you'll be required to submit certain documents, including:

- Caste certificate: If you belong to a reserved category (OBC, SC, ST)

- Income certificate: If you're applying for a government quota seat or a concession

Importance of Caste Income Certificate

While not mandatory for the NEET application, a valid caste income certificate can help you:

- Claim reservation benefits: If you belong to a reserved category

- Avail government concessions: If your family income meets the eligibility criteria

To avoid any last-minute issues, ensure you have the required documents ready, including a valid caste income certificate, if applicable.

Hope this clarifies things!

How i will get my result of neet UG 2019 I lost it I have all the information like my application number or roll number and my all india rank But I dont have my result and NTA is saying they dont have the result tell me how to get the result please

Prachi Kumari 5th Mar, 2025

Hello Tejas,

If you lost your NEET UG 2019 result, try these steps:

- Check your email for any scorecard from NTA.

- Contact your exam center or the college where you took admission; they may have a copy.

- File an RTI application to request your result officially. If NTA says they don’t have it, look for alternative records like admission documents where your rank and score might be mentioned. Also, check educational forums for similar cases.

If nothing works, consult a legal expert for further guidance.

Hope it helps !

I am a central govt empl posted inMaharastra since 2017.My son has done 10th 12 th from Maharashtra. He has applied for neet UG 2025. At the time of filling form I am posted in Maharashtra. But my transfer is due and likely to transfer in other other state in April. Can he eligible for state quota

Prachi Kumari 5th Mar, 2025

Hello,

Your son should be eligible for the 85% state quota in Maharashtra for NEET UG 2025 . Since he has completed both Class 10 and 12 from Maharashtra, he qualifies as a domicile candidate , which is the main requirement for state quota eligibility.

Your transfer in April should not affect his eligibility, as domicile is based on education criteria as well.

Hope it helps !

For addmission neet marks necessary

Prachi Kumari 5th Mar, 2025

Hello Jatin,

The minimum NEET marks required for admission depend on the category and the college you are aiming for. Here are the qualifying cutoffs:

  • For General Category: Around 50th percentile (Usually 715-117 marks in NEET 2023).
  • For OBC/SC/ST Category: Around 40th percentile (Usually 116-93 marks in NEET 2023).
  • For Private Colleges: The cutoff is usually lower, but you still need to qualify for NEET.
  • For Government Colleges: Higher marks are needed, usually 600+ for top colleges.

Hope it helps !

What should be my neet score to get into cmc, vellore if I am a general caste and not Christian?

Mitali Sharma 5th Mar, 2025

Hello

For admission to CMC Vellore as a General (non-Christian) candidate, you must secure a high NEET score, as only a few open category seats are available.

Expected NEET Score for General Category:

Government Quota (through Tamil Nadu State Counselling): 620+

Open Category (Few Seats in Management Quota): 660+

Christian Minority Quota: Lower cutoffs (not applicable to you)

Since most seats are reserved for Christian candidates, securing admission as a general candidate requires a very high NEET score (650+ for safety).

Hello

In the NEET application form , you should fill in the Class 12 details as follows:

2. School/Board Name – Enter the board name under which you are appearing as a private candidate in 2025.

3. Roll Number – If your new roll number for the compartment exam is available, enter it; otherwise, leave it blank for now.

4. Marks Obtained – If you are waiting for results, mention that you are appearing in 2025. If the form asks for marks, you may need to enter tentative details and update them later.

5. Result Status – Select Appearing or Compartment as per the available options.
