IAM SAKING HERE FOR NEET 2025 FORM ADDRESS REG., , MY FATHER BELONGS ANDHRAPRADESH HAVING OBC CATOGERY NOW WE ARE IN CHHATTISHGARH MY WHOLE STUDY UPTO 12TH IN CHATTISHGARH. I HAVE OBC CERTIFICATE FROM ANDHRAPRADESH STATE EXCEPT OBC REST OF ALL DOCUMENTS WITH CHAATISHGARH STATE NOW WHAT CAN I DO

Tanya Gupta 19th Feb, 2025

For NEET 2025 registration, your state of eligibility for the 85% state quota seats will be Chhattisgarh since you have completed your entire schooling there. However, your OBC certificate is from Andhra Pradesh, which may not be valid for OBC reservations in Chhattisgarh. Each state has its own OBC list, and the certificate must be issued by the respective state authorities.

To claim OBC benefits in Chhattisgarh, you need to obtain an OBC certificate from Chhattisgarh authorities. If your caste is listed under OBC in Chhattisgarh, apply for a fresh certificate. If not, you will be considered a General category candidate for state quota seats in Chhattisgarh but can still claim OBC benefits under the All India Quota if your caste is in the Central OBC list.

I have registered for both Kcet and neet but Im only writing neet because I was told for getting seats in karnataka medical college I have to be registered in kcet is it true

Tanya Gupta 19th Feb, 2025

Yes, registering for KCET along with NEET is required for securing a medical seat in Karnataka under the state quota. While NEET is the only entrance exam for MBBS admissions, KCET registration is necessary for participating in the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) counseling process. KEA manages the allotment of government and private medical college seats under the state quota, and only candidates registered through KCET can apply for these seats. However, if you only aim for AIQ (All India Quota) seats, KCET registration is not needed. Ensure you complete all KEA formalities to be eligible for Karnataka medical colleges

I took a DNB seat in 2022 neet pg counselling. I resigned my DNB course in 2023. Now, Im planning to write neet pg 2025. Can I attend the 2025 counselling or else will I get debarred from attending it. I heard that I cannot take DNB seat again. If it so, can I take MD/MS seat?

Prachi Kumari 19th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Resigning from a DNB course may impact your eligibility for future admissions. Key points to consider:

  • Debarment Period : Candidates who resign from a DNB seat are often debarred from participating in DNB counselling for the next three years.

  • MD/MS Eligibility : Generally, resigning from a DNB course does not affect eligibility for MD/MS courses. You should be able to participate in NEET PG 2025 counselling for MD/MS seats , provided you meet all other eligibility criteria.

  • State Counselling Participation : Eligibility to participate in state counselling processes may vary. Some states allow candidates who have resigned from DNB courses to participate, while others may have restrictions. It's essential to consult the specific state's counselling guidelines.

  • Financial Implications : Resigning from a DNB seat may involve financial penalties, such as forfeiture of fees or bond amounts. Review the terms of your admission letter or bond agreement to understand any financial obligations.

Can someone help me with the NEET form? Im a private candidate for the 12th grade this year from a government school (state board), and the form is asking for the type of school Im in. Prachi Kumari 20th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Since you are a private candidate for the 12th grade from a government school (state board) , you should select:

3. Government School – if your school is fully government-run.

If your school is government-aided but privately managed , select:

4. Government Aided Private.

If you are appearing as a private candidate (without regular school enrollment), check if your board considers you under ODL (Open and Distance Learning) or Others.

To be sure, verify with your school or board office.

will i get admission in this KJ institute for bams with 300 marks in neet form obc category?as i m the gujarat student only by state quota?

Kenma Kozume 19th Feb, 2025

hi ,

with a NEET score of 300 and belonging to OBC category under gujrat state quota , you have a reasonable chance securing admission to the K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research for the BAMS program.

  • In the 2022 admissions , the closing rank for the BAMS course at K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research was 206,388 for the General-All India category.
  • Given that your score of 300 falls within the qualifying range for the OBC category and considering the previous closing ranks, it is likely that you may secure a seat under the state quota.

However, please note that cutoffs can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall performance

For the most accurate and updated information, it's advisable to:

  • Contact the Admission Office of K.J. Institute directly.
  • Monitor official announcements from the Gujarat Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .

hope this helps

i have studied in class 6 to 10 in kerala and completed my inter 1st and 2nd year in andra pradesh state board , will I be considered local or non local for neet councelling

Kenma Kozume 19th Feb, 2025

hi ,

here is how your local/non local quota for a state will be chosen

consider the following parameters according to the two states

For Andhra Pradesh State Quota:

  • Andhra Pradesh considers candidates as local if they have studied at least 4 consecutive years in the state before Class 12 (Intermediate).
  • Since you completed both 1st and 2nd year of Intermediate in Andhra Pradesh, you might be considered local for Andhra Pradesh's 85% state quota (subject to verification).
  • If you did not meet the continuous 4-year study requirement, you might be treated as a non-local and will be eligible for only unreserved (non-local) seats.

For Kerala State Quota:

  • Kerala usually requires Class 10+12 education in the state or a domicile certificate to be considered for the 85% state quota.
  • Since you studied Class 6 to 10 in Kerala, you may still be considered non-local unless you have a domicile certificate proving Kerala as your permanent residence.

Final Status:

  • Local in Andhra Pradesh (if your study duration meets their requirement).
  • Non-local in Kerala , unless you have Kerala domicile proof.
  • You can still apply for All India Quota (15%) in both states.

hope this helps

Can anyone specify all the documents required for Neet form filling and also wanted to know that my permanent addresses different from current address so what documents will be required for that

Tanya Gupta 19th Feb, 2025

For NEET 2025 form filling, you need essential documents like a recent passport-size photograph, postcard-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and a valid government ID (Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport). Additionally, you require your Class 10 and 12 mark sheets or certificates, a category certificate (if applicable), and a PwD certificate (if applicable). If your permanent address differs from your current address, you generally don’t need additional documents for NEET registration. However, for verification purposes later, you may keep address proof such as an Aadhaar card, rent agreement, or domicile certificate ready.
