In neet 2025 Maharashtra sml obc 6098 possibility of getting mbbs addmission

Nikita shahi 9th Aug, 2025

Hi,

With an SML rank of 6098 in Maharashtra under the OBC category, your chances of getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college will depend on how the cutoff trends in 2025. Looking at previous years’ data, the closing rank for OBC category in some government colleges is often within the range of 6,000–8,000 SML, but it varies by college and round. You might get seats in newer government colleges or semi-government colleges in later rounds. Keep an eye on state counseling rounds (including mop-up), and also consider applying for deemed/private colleges if budget permits.

For detailed cutoff update you can check: Maharashtra NEET Cutoff Trends

Thank you for your question and best of luck !

When will the choice filling of andhra pradesh will be started for management quota for neet 2025

Deepthi Pradeep 8th Aug, 2025

For AP NEET management quota seats online choice filling usually starts after the main counselling rounds for state quota are completed. For 2025, management quota registration began on July 15. The last date to register without late fee was August 2 and with late fee it was extended till August 4 . This application phase typically leads immediately into choice filling for management quota seats. Since that window has closed, you may have missed the initial round.

To stay informed, regularly check the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) portal for any additional rounds, stray vacancies, or spot rounds that may open later.

without NEET can i qualify for entrance exam of aiims, with 12th pass

Abhilasha Agrawal 8th Aug, 2025

If you are talking about AIIMS MBBS admission, then No — you cannot skip NEET.

Since 2020, AIIMS MBBS seats are filled only through NEET-UG as per NMC rules.

However, if you are asking about AIIMS paramedical or other undergraduate courses (like B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Medical Technology, OTT, MLT, etc.), then yes, you can apply directly after 12th by appearing in the AIIMS Institute-level entrance exam conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. NEET is not required for those.

If I forgot to lock my choice in neet mcc counseling.. Will I not be able to get college in round 1

Abhilasha Agrawal 8th Aug, 2025

If you forget to lock your choices in NEET MCC counselling, the portal will automatically lock your last saved choices at the end of the choice-filling period.

So, you will still be considered for Round 1 seat allotment based on those saved choices.

You’ll only miss out if you didn’t save any choice at all — in that case, you won’t be allotted a seat in that round and will have to participate in the next one.

I have reported a college in MCC neet ug counselling and opt for upgradation and payed fees and if in second round of counselling I will got the upgraded college can i get my money back from the first allotted college . please reply ..

Abhilasha Agrawal 8th Aug, 2025

Yes — if you’ve reported to the Round 1 college, paid the fees, and then get an upgraded seat in Round 2 of MCC NEET UG counselling you will have to join the upgraded college and complete reporting there.

The first college is required to refund your fees, after deducting the caution deposit or any minimal processing charges, as per MCC rules. The refund process usually takes a few weeks and is handled directly the first college to your bank account.

The key is to collect the relieving letter from the first college after upgradation — it’s your proof for the refund.

Can I get BAMS with 287 marks in neet 2025 obc ncl category

Ayush Madanpotra 7th Aug, 2025

If you scored 287 marks in NEET 2025 and belong to the OBC-NCL category, it will be very difficult to get admission in a government BAMS college. Most government BAMS colleges need at least 450 to 500 marks for OBC category students.

With 287 marks, your chances are better in private BAMS colleges. Some private colleges may accept students with marks between 250 and 380, especially under the management quota or in states with lower competition.

So, you may not get a government seat, but you can still try for admission in private BAMS colleges. Make sure to check counselling options and cutoffs for your state.

Me ek Maharashtra board ki student hu mera aapse sawal hai ke ncert ke bina hum neet ke paper dhe sakte hai

Bipasha 7th Aug, 2025

Technically yes, you can appear for NEET without NCERT. But:

NCERT books (especially for Biology, Chemistry, Physics) are the base of NEET syllabus

90–95% questions in NEET come directly or indirectly from NCERT

If you don’t study NCERT, your chances of scoring well become very low. It’s highly recommended to study NCERT books thoroughly along with your Maharashtra Board books.

What was the neet ug cut off for general Kashmiri migrants in Karnataka govt colleges after the first round results came out, heard like it was 400 is it true

Shekhar Pachlore 7th Aug, 2025

Yes, under the Kashmiri Migrant (KM) quota in Karnataka, candidates with NEET UG scores between 330 and 380 have secured MBBS seats in previous years. In 2025, a score of 430 was considered above the usual cutoff range for this category, offering a good chance for admission, especially in later rounds or for semi-government/private colleges.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) reserves one seat per government medical college for the KM category. While the general category cutoff often exceeds 600, the KM quota typically has significantly lower cutoffs. For instance, in 2022, the closing marks for the KM quota at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar were around 370, with similar trends in 2023 and 2024.
Final allotment depends on seat availability and proper documentation during counseling. It's advisable to monitor the official KEA website for updates on counseling schedules and seat allotments.

i given 12 th board in general category in which i got 42% aggregate in pcb. but i have obc caste certificate of uttar pradesh so iam i eligible for neet

Chelsie G 6th Aug, 2025

Yes, you are eligible to appear for NEET. Even though you got 42% aggregate in PCB under the general category, since you have a valid OBC caste certificate from Uttar Pradesh, you will be considered under the OBC category. For OBC and other reserved categories, the minimum eligibility requirement is 40% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 12th board exams. So with 42%, you meet the criteria and can apply for NEET under the OBC category.
