i am a student from west bengal currently doing mbbs in manipal univeristy! so will i get west bengal state quota or karnataka state quota in my neet pg exams? or do i lose my state quota completely and apply only through all india quota?

Hi Candidate,

The Home State Quota or the Domicile Qouta refers to the state or the Institution is located in which state from which you have passed your Examination.

If you a candidate studying in Karnataka but actually a resident of West Bengal, then your Domicile Qouta belongs to Karnataka

We don't know much but what we know is that NEET PG entrance examinations have been postponed by the national board of examination (NBE) so that they won't be held on January 2021 without a new date till further notice.

Since you have not mentioned the exam name , I assume from the tag that you are asking whether you can take up NEET PG EXAM after BSc course. If yes, then no , you cannot appear for NEET PG exam as the applicant must possess an MBBS

In order to appear for NEET, you need to fulfill the following criteria;

Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects.

PCB  Aggregate  inclusive of theory  and practical needs to be attained against one's respective  category such as

  • UR-50%
  • OBC/SC/ST-40%

Ofcourse you will get benefit of OBC-NCL.

If you've certificate of OBC category you've to upload during counselling. A proper reservation certificate is required.

If you choose your category at time of application form your cut-off will comes under obc category.
