The cut off marks varies a lot from college to college and also the cut offs of this year are higher than previous years. You can check from the College predictor by entering your AIR and see the probable colleges.

You can submit Application form xerox in whichever way you want. You can submit it in black and white and and also submit a colored copy.
I'll suggest you to submit colored xerox if possible as this will be more clear and precise. Many times the black and
287 is not a promising score even if a person belong ST category, especially if you're aiming to take admission in any government college. Because if you see the previous selection criteria I'd say 450-480 would be the safest to ensure a seat for a ST candidate.
