I would suggest you to send a mail to the NIFT exam conducting authority and put up your query in front of the authority so that they can help you resolve your issue.
Ask them as to where are you supposed to upload the certificate they have mentioned in

If no coloumn has been provided for uploading the certificate then, It is not to be upload while application form filling.

Yes you need to upload the caste certificate at the time of application form without you will not get the benefits from that. And you will be considered as a general category student so before applying list all things what you need and then start the application

No, it is not required. Once you are done with the NIFT exam you can take your paper with you. There is no such instructions given as to submit the question paper back after the exam. Still do read the instructions  given carefully before proceeding with exam

Commencement of NIFT 2019 online application is Third week of October 2018.

Last date of NIFT 2019 application form is Last week of December 2018(28th).

NIFT entrance test 2019 is on 20th january 2019.

Result will be announced in fourth week march 2019.

No it is not required to upload a picture with date. Only make sure that you have a recent photograph uploaded. And also if you upload a photograph with date, it is not an issue it will not be rejected.
